Christmas Baking

We didn't do a ton of baking, but we sure had fun with what we did make:

We made chocolates for Santa-

And dipped lots of pretzels in the leftover chocolate-

Grandma L

We had yet another loss this year when Grandma L passed away.  She was a stubborn, gentle, hard working, loving lady.  Sauerkraut and dumplings will never taste the same.

Cole took a nice snooze on our drive to Wisconsin:

It was a lovely service.  My grandma was so loved and respected.  We sure will miss her!

Navy Boot Camp

Kris left for the Navy and the day before he left, we held a little party for him to bid him farewell:

Random October Snow

Despite a rather warm fall, we did get a random October snow.

And while the rain fell before turning to snow, we painted a few pumpkins:

Trying to catch a snowflake on his tongue:

When that didn't work, he resorted to just licking the flower pot:

Science Museum Day

We went to check out the new "Mazes" exhibit:

A trip through the cell lab:

It was Halloween weekend so we were able to build 'spooky' experiments:

And no trip to the museum is complete without a stop at Cosetta's

Grandparent's Day at School

Grandma wasn't able to join this year because she was in Wisconsin, but grandpa was able to be there with Cole!!
